About this site
Wisdom Network (wisdomnetwork.com.au) is a personal community project run by Samantha Dzabic. It connects mature-age professionals navigating career transitions in Australia. It is not currently operated as a registered business. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect the new arrangement.
This policy explains what personal information the site collects, how it is used, and what choices you have about it. The policy applies to anyone who visits the site, contacts Samantha through it, or uses the booking, download, or job board features.
What personal information is collected
The site collects only what is needed to respond to you and run the community. That includes:
- Your name and email address when you contact Samantha or click a “join” link that opens an email
- Your name, email address, and any details you provide when you book a 30-minute call through the Calendly link on the site
- Information you choose to share in an introduction email or call, such as career background, situation, and goals
- Standard server logs that the hosting provider keeps automatically, including approximate location based on your IP address, browser type, and pages visited
The site does not run any custom tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing tags.
How the information is used
Information is used only for the purpose you provided it for. That means:
- Replying to your email or call request
- Sending you details about the next community meeting if you ask to be added
- Improving the site based on how visitors use it (page views, broken links)
Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.
Third-party services this site relies on
The site uses a small number of trusted third-party services. Each of them has its own privacy policy.
- SiteGround hosts the website. SiteGround keeps server logs (IP addresses, browser type) for security and performance.
- Google Workspace powers samantha@wisdomnetwork.com.au email. Emails you send Samantha are stored in Google’s servers under Samantha’s account.
- Calendly handles call bookings. When you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and any details you add to the form.
- Google Calendar records the resulting meeting and your email address as the invitee.
- Google Meet generates the video conference link. Meetings are not recorded unless you are notified at the time.
- LinkedIn is used for the community’s external presence. The site links to LinkedIn but does not embed tracking.
- Mailing list tools (Mailchimp, MailerLite, or similar) are not currently used. If a mailing list is added in future, this policy will be updated.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets a small number of cookies that are required for it to function (for example, to keep a logged-in administrator logged in). These do not track you for advertising purposes.
If site analytics are added in future (for example, Google Analytics or a privacy-friendly alternative like Plausible or Fathom), this policy will be updated and you will be informed via a notice on the site.
Job board (when active)
The site is being prepared to host a job board where employers can post roles and visitors can browse them. When that goes live, the following will apply:
- Employers will create an account with name, email, and company details to post a role
- Visitors who click “apply” on a job will see the application email address provided by the employer; the site does not collect or store visitor applications
- Posted roles remain visible until the employer closes them or 30 days passes
This section will be updated when the job board is publicly active.
Your choices
You can:
- Ask what personal information Samantha holds about you and request a copy
- Ask for any personal information about you to be corrected if it is wrong
- Ask for your information to be deleted (with the exception of records that need to be kept for legal reasons)
- Unsubscribe from any future mailing list at any time

Security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. The site uses HTTPS encryption. Email is held in Google Workspace, which uses enterprise-grade security.
No system on the internet is perfectly secure. If you are concerned about sharing sensitive information, please send less rather than more.
Children
This site is intended for adults, particularly mature-age professionals. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has shared information with the site, please email samantha@wisdomnetwork.com.au and it will be deleted.
Visitors from outside Australia
The site is hosted and is intended primarily for users. If you visit from outside Australia, your information may be transferred to Australia for processing. By using the site you consent to this transfer.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent change. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site for at least 14 days before they take effect.
