Who can join the Wisdom Network?
Any professional over 55 who is committed to supporting others and being part of a supportive, professional community. You don’t need to be actively job-searching, mentors, coaches, and employed professionals are all welcome.
Do I have to be actively job searching to join?
Not at all. Our most valuable members include employed professionals who share opportunities, offer advice, and provide mentoring to those who are in transition.
How much does membership cost?
Network membership and meeting attendance are free. This is a community built on mutual support, not profit.
What is the difference between the network and individual coaching?
The network provides peer support, community, and shared opportunities. Individual coaching offers personal career challenges, it’s available separately through Samantha’s consulting practice.
How often do you meet?
Every 6 to 8 weeks, which allows time to implement advice and pursue opportunities between meetings while maintaining regular connection with the community.
Can I attend a meeting before officially joining?
Yes. Contact Samantha to arrange attending your first meeting as a guest to see if the network is the right fit for you.
I am an employer. How can Wisdom Network help me?
Wisdom Network works with organisations to help them retain, retrain, and recruit experienced talent. Visit the For Employers page to learn about our advisory services and accreditation program.
I’m a veteran transitioning out of the ADF. Is Wisdom Network right for me?
Yes. Wisdom Network has a dedicated Veterans program for ADF members and veterans navigating the transition to civilian careers. The program is open regardless of age and includes career transition coaching, peer community with others who have made the same journey, and connections to employers who actively value military experience. Visit the Veterans page to learn more or book a free call.
Where are meetings held?
Meetings are held in Sydney, Australia. Online participation is available for regional members.
